Simon Williams will be returning to give an in depth workshop on painting on Kelmscott vellum. The price of your piece of 6"x4" vellum is included in the cost of the course, and you will be taking it home with you so that you can finish your painting. Your choice of summer berries will glow on this interesting surface - what a fabulous opportunity to learn from such an expert! Working from a wide range of seasonal berries, you will learn to create your own vellum masterpiece. Drawing, colour observations and the attention to detail and accuracy will be heavily focused on in this workshop. The course will not be suitable for beginners. If you have a good level and understanding of the fundamentals in botanical painting you should be able to attend this course.
